I have now just recovered from the loss of sleep from Daylight Savings Time. all over the news you see the health risks of the dangers of losing sleeps. Sources say that heart rates increase by as much as 10%. A way that came to me to help improve millions of people’s situations is to move the date to change the clock to 2:00 Saturday morning. Instead of having only have one day before working days to adapt to the lost hour, why can’t we have two days? People would have more time to adapt if they woke up early on Saturday.

Much like the inventions of the printing press in the 1440s and the telephone in 1876, the invention of social media has changed the way we communicate. Social media is defined has five things: collaborative projects such as Wikipedia, blogs such as Twitter and WordPress, video communities such as Youtube, social networking such as Facebook, and virtual gaming worlds such as World of Warcraft. It is human nature to share ideas with the world to feel like we are part of something big. Social media has revolutionized the idea of communication so that millions of people can see others’ ideas in a matter of seconds.
Back in the old days when the printing press was invented, people began to come out of the Middle Ages. The invention sparked the Reformation against the Roman Catholic Church. People began to become literate and could actually understand what the Bible said. Alexander Graham Bell’s telephone allowed people to talk over distances. Back in these times, ideas only could be spread one person at a time.
Now, any video posted on Youtube could be seen by millions of people. Wall posts on Facebook can be given the thumbs-up sign of Like hundreds of times. One idea could instantly revolutionize the world. But the question is, what is your idea to share?
